I actually enjoyed their play through, to be honest.Īgree 100%, the game was obviously trying really hard, but it really felt mediocre.

I don't blame them for the way they acted, because I acted similarly. You're supposed to feel alone at the end, but not knowing what your "friends" look like, or really much anything about them at all, you're left feeling nothing. The only solace there is to take is that you find that the bug was with you the whole time, and he survived. You're inclined to check if he's still with you every morning, seeing as he's your only REAL company, but to no avail. I honestly feel like the bug, "Otis," is the only one that you really could care for, because he was a gift, and then he's just taken away from you so early on. It has little emotion to it, and it doesn't give you an incentive to care about anyone that's writing you. It's more of an interactive story than a game. You have friends that send you letters, and some gifts, but aside from the games that your "happy" friend gives you, there's nothing for you to do. This game (if you want to call it that, considering you can't really lose) wasn't really good. How can you're become attached to characters who you can't even confirm are REAL? Why would you even CONSIDER believing doctor money when he says Sal is dead? IS SAL EVEN REAL? Why do you expect the truth from mysterious and highly suspicious, logically inconsistent letters? Everyone is saying the appeal is in how the game makes you feel, but I don't see how a bare bones plot and wooden, possibly pretend characters can make anyone feeling anything. The whole video I'm thinking "alright game, stop acting like I'm an idiot, I know these letters are bogus" but as it turns out the developers are the idiots here. He says he can't find you, but he doesn't thinks to just FOLLOW THE LETTER No one was there to deliver letters, characters send messages in multiple parts sealed in individual envelopes, and Salvador even SENDS YOU A LETTER MID-RESCUE MISSION. Like, the stupid letter thing is so immersion breaking it ruined the entire game. I mean, watching the video I was honestly expecting some sort of crazy twist ending after the prisoner escaped, not a confirmation of something we already know (the lady who sent a bloody goodbye letter is. I don't think anyone should have played this game and frankly it feels like I'm taking crazy pills seeing so many people sing its praises.
